  • What is money?

Money is any item that is generally accepted and serves as a medium of exchange. Money is used to purchase things and to meet our needs.  Money makes us comfortable, happy, and rich.

  • What is wealth?

Wealth is the abundance of valuable financial assets or physical possessions which can be converted into a form that can be used for transactions. Wealth can also mean a large amount of money or valuable possessions that someone has.

 

  • Uses of money and wealth ( Luke 12:15, 1 Timothy 6: 17-19)

Money and wealth should be used in the following ways

  1. Money and wealth should be used to advance the kingdom of God
  2. It should be used to help the needy and poor
  3. It should be invested so that it can yield profit
  4. It should be wisely spent

 

MORAL LESSONS

  1. Money and wealth are given by God
  2. It is wrong to be proud because one is wealthy
  3. Money and wealth are given to us so that we can help others
  4. They are given to serve God.
