Welcome to today’s class!!
We are thrilled to have you in our class!!
In today’s Religious and National Values class, we will be learning about Group Conflicts and Cooperation
Group Conflicts and Cooperation
Group conflict is a disagreement or a quarrel between two or more people over certain issues. Conflict occurs when two people or more choose actions that are incompatible. In this way, each action by one makes it more difficult for the other person.
However, to avoid conflicts, there is need for cooperation.
Cooperation is useful and needed at different places and times. It is a necessary item for successful outcomes among people.
We can define cooperation as the actions of someone who is being helpful by doing what is wanted or asked for. It is also called a common effort.
Cooperation is working together to accomplish shared goals. Within cooperative situations, individuals seek outcomes that are beneficial to themselves and beneficial to all other group members
Cooperation demonstrates the ability to work effectively and respectfully with diverse people or teams, make compromises, build consensus in decision-making, assume shared responsibility for collaborative work, and value the opinions and contributions of individual team members, from a position of firm self-identity.
Cooperation is also needed in the workplace. Cooperation in the workplace means that everyone works together to solve problems.
By working together, students learn more effective communication and interpersonal skills. They learn to listen to each other and to resolve conflicts. Cooperation in this way brings them together as a class, leading to overall better social relations and acceptance among the group.
In summary, while cooperation teaches students how to work and play with others, it is also important in helping people solve problems and working together without differing opinions.
