Transport and Communication

Transport And Communication

Transport is a system for taking people or goods from one place to another, for example using buses or trains.

Transport also means to move something, often large quantities of commercial products, over great distances.

Transportation

The different modes of transport are air, water, and land transport, which includes rails or railways, road and off-road transport. Other modes of transport also exist, including pipelines, cable transport, and space transport. Human-powered transport and animal-powered transport are sometimes regarded as their own mode, but never fall into the other categories.

In general, transportation is used for moving people, animals, and other goods from one place to another.

Means of transport, however, refers to the transport facilities used to carry people or cargo according to the chosen mode (animal, vehicle, car, airplane, ship, truck, train and so on and so forth).

Communication, on the other hand, is simply the act of transferring information from one place, person or group to another.

Every communication involves (at least) one sender, a message and a recipient.

The sending of a message from sender to recipient can be affected by a huge range of things. These include our emotions, the cultural situation, the medium used to communicate, and even our location.

Communication is more than simply the transmission of information. The term requires an element of success in transmitting or imparting a message, whether information, ideas, or emotions.

Communication

A communication therefore has three parts: the sender, the message, and the recipient.

In summary, Communication was closely associated with transportation since, in the absence of modern communications, it was subject to movement speed and efficiency.

Messages had to be delivered orally or in writing from one location to another, and the majority of them travelled in the same vehicles as passengers as well as goods. As a result, communications were also tied to the speed of a horse, oxen, barge, or man on foot.
