Safety Security and Management
Safety Security and management involves taking steps to keep yourself safe and protecting yourself from situations that are potentially violent or criminal.
Keeping ourselves safe is important because property can be replaced but you are irreplaceable.
Understanding personal security is important for pupils as it empowers them to protect themselves and make informed decisions in their daily lives.
Personal Security means keeping ourselves and properties safe from harm, theft or danger.
Importance of Security and Management
- To protect ourselves from harm.
- To prevent accidents.
- To stay safe in different situations.
- To make wise choices.
- To feel confident and secured
Security and management covers all aspects of protecting an organization’s assets – including computers, people, buildings, and other assets – against risk. A security management strategy begins by identifying these assets, developing and implementing policies and procedures for protecting them, and maintaining and maturing these programs over time.
