Baking

This is a method of cooking food with dry heat in an enclosed space. Baking is done in ovens e.g. bread, cake, biscuit etc.

Advantages

  • It develops good flavour in food
  • Many food can be baked at a time
  • It saves fuel and time

Disadvantages

  • It requires attention
  • It requires careful temperature control
