Welcome to today’s class!!
We are thrilled to have you in our class!!
In today’s Religious and National Values class, we will be learning about Living in the Family
Living in the Family
Living in the family can include a child with both parents – mother and father, including brothers and sisters or a father and mother and other relatives.
Let’s take a look at what a family is.
A family is a group of two or more persons related by birth, marriage, or adoption who live together.
Some members of the family include:
- Father
- Mother
- Children
- Uncles
- Aunts
- Relations
A Nuclear family is that type of family that consists of father, mother and children, while an extended family consists of father, mother, children and relatives. Examples include grandparents, uncles, aunts, cousins, nephews, nieces and inlaws.
Importantly, living in the family requires some things that are important. Because families living together have the following:
- They love one another
- They have great concern and interest for one another
- They protect and defend one another
- They protect the family name
- They have a sense of belonging.
In summary, a family is a group of two or more persons related by birth, marriage, or adoption who live together and have love, respect and peace between one another.
