Neighborhood Crimes And Prevention
The intentional commission of an act usually deemed socially harmful or dangerous and specifically defined, prohibited, and punishable under criminal law is referred to as crimes.
A crime is also an unlawful act punishable by a state or other authority.
Punishment, on the other hand, is the infliction of some kind of pain or loss upon a person for a misdeed
Punishment is the imposition of an undesirable or unpleasant outcome upon a group or individual, meted out by an authority.
Let’s take a look at some of the various crimes that are punishable by the law:
Forgery: this is the act of writing or altering a signature for the purpose of deceit and fraud. This crime is punishable with years of imprisonment.
Theft: this is the act of stealing a property that belongs to someone else. A person involved in this act can be taken into custody, and then taken to the court and given a jail term of one year and above.
Examination Malpractices: this involves bad conduct by a person during an examination. It involves going against examination rules and regulations. A person caught in this act can be disqualified from the exams and papers canceled.
Dealing In Fake Drugs: fake illegal drugs constitute a big crime, this kind of offense is punishable with ten years
Food Fraud: This involves selling bad food for consumption to the people. This may harm or damage the individual life. A person caught in this act of crime may be jailed if found guilty.
In summary, neighborhood crimes involve stealing, selling fake drugs, and other wrong acts punishable by the law.
And so, punishment for various crimes comes as a result of preventing people from doing more dangers to their fellow humans and the society. It is not good to commit a crime but it pays to be law-abiding.
