RESPONSIBILITIES OF NUCLEAR FAMILY
Living together as a family has many advantages. However, a happy family is one in which the father, mother and children know their duties.
DUTIES OF THE FATHER:
- The father is the head of the family
- the father provides the necessities of life (shelter, clothing, food etc)
- The father respects the mother of his children.
- The father shows love and care for the children.
- The father protects the family from any harm.
DUTIES OF THE MOTHER:
- The mother ensures that food is well prepared
- The mother takes care of the children
- The mother also assists the father in making their home better
- The mother should share with the husband the daily work of the home and care of the children.
- The mother makes sure the house is neat and tidy.
DUTIES OF THE CHILDREN:
- The children run errands for their parents
- They respect their parents.
- They assist their parents at home especially during house chores.
- They take care of one another especially if their parents are not around.
