Sacrifice involved in Jesus giving His life for us.
Jesus made a lot of sacrifice with His life to save the whole world.
The arrest of Jesus. Matt 28: 47-54.
Jesus and His disciples reached the garden of Gethsemane. Jesus took Peter, James, and John to a part of the garden and began to pray. As HE PRAYED, Judas came with the crowd to arrest Jesus. Judas told them: “The one I shall kiss is the man, seize him”
Judas kissed Jesus and the crowd arrested Him. They slapped and beat him. Jesus suffered a lot. Peter got angry and cut the ear of one of the people who came to arrest Him, but Jesus healed him.

The crowd took Jesus to the house of the high priest. The high priest tried Him. Some people who have no conscience came and told terrible lies against Jesus. The high priest asked Jesus if He was a son of and Jesus said He was a son of God. Because Jesus said He was a son of God, the high priest said He has spoken against God and He tore His robes. The high priest asked the people what they should do to Jesus and they all said, He deserved to die.
They spat on Jesus, beat Him, beat Him, and subjected Him to all sort of torture.
- God wants us to know that Jesus sacrificed His life for us so that we can be saved.
- God wants us to know that Jesus loves us.
- What sign did Judas give the people who arrested Jesus?
Answer: He kissed Him.
- What did Peter do to one of the people who came to arrest Jesus?
Answer: He cut one of his ears.
- Why did the high priest tear Jesus robes?
Answer: Because He said He was a son of God.
