Welcome to class!
Hello again, my wonderful students! I hope you’re excited because today, we’re going to continue learning about moving our body parts. Let’s have some more fun!
Basic Movements – moving our body parts II
Can anyone remember what we learned last time? That’s right, we talked about walking, running, jumping, clapping, dancing, hopping, and skipping. You’re all so smart!
Stretching:
First, let’s stretch our bodies. Reach your arms up high like you’re trying to touch the sky. Stretch, stretch, stretch! Feel your body getting longer?
Now, touch your toes! Reach down as far as you can. Stretching feels so good, doesn’t it?
Twisting and Turning:
Twist your body to the left, and then to the right. Twist, twist! It’s like we’re dancing with our waist.
Let’s also practice turning around in a circle. Turn, turn, turn! Who’s getting dizzy? Just a little bit of fun!
Balancing:
Balancing is like standing on one foot. Can you stand on one foot like a flamingo? Great balance, everyone!
Now, try the other foot. Balancing helps us stay steady and strong.
Crawling and Rolling:
Sometimes, we need to move close to the ground. Let’s practice crawling on our hands and knees. Crawl, crawl, like a little crab!
Rolling is fun too! Lie down and roll like a log. Roll to the left and roll to the right. Whee!
You all did an amazing job learning more about moving our body parts today! We stretched, twisted, balanced, crawled, and rolled – so many cool movements!
