Welcome to class!

In today’s class, we’re going to have a blast learning about catching objects and striking a ball. Are you excited? Let’s dive right in!

Basic Movements – catching of objects and striking a ball

Catching Objects:

Catching Objects

Catching is like giving a big hug to an object that’s flying toward you. It’s so much fun!

First, we need to get ready. Stand with your feet apart and your arms out in front of you like you’re ready to catch a big, fluffy pillow.

Practice with Soft Objects:

Let’s start with something soft, like a plush toy or a soft ball. Toss it gently to your partner, and they’ll catch it. Can you do that? Great job!

Remember, soft objects are friendly. They won’t hurt if you miss catching them.

Striking a Ball:

Now, let’s talk about striking a ball. It’s like giving the ball a little pat or a gentle hit to make it go zoom!

You can use your hands, a bat, or any safe object for striking.

Practice Striking:

Get ready to strike! Hold your bat or object and stand with your feet apart.

When the ball comes toward you, give it a little tap. Whack! Try to make it go far!

Practice with a soft ball at first. It’s easier to start with.

Working Together:

Playing catch and striking a ball are more fun with friends. You can take turns tossing and hitting. Teamwork makes it even better!

Safety First:

Safety is super important. Always make sure you have enough space to play safely.

And remember, we don’t throw or hit objects at people. We play together, not against each other.

Today, we learned how to catch objects and strike a ball. It’s like a fun game of back-and-forth with our friends!

We have come to the end of today’s class. I hope you enjoyed the class!

In the next class, we shall be discussing Safety rules
