Throwing objects can be a lot of fun, but it’s important to do it safely. We’re going to learn how to throw things nicely.

Choosing the Right Object:

Let’s start by choosing an object to throw. It could be a softball or a bean bag. Something safe and not too heavy. What object do you have?

Great! Now, hold it gently in one hand.

Proper Throwing Stance:

Stand with your feet apart, one foot slightly in front of the other. Like this! This helps you balance.

Hold the object back near your ear, like you’re listening to it. Get ready to throw!

Now, let’s practice the throwing motion. Swing your arm back, and then swing it forward while letting go of the object. Whoosh!

Try to throw it to a friend or into a target. You can make a target with a hula hoop or draw one on the ground with chalk.

Follow Through:

After you throw, follow through with your arm. It’s like waving goodbye to the object as it goes on its journey.

Safety First:

Always make sure there’s enough space around you and no one in your way when you throw.

And remember, we don’t throw things at people. We throw it to them, so they can catch it if they want to.

Practice, Practice, Practice:

Practice makes perfect! Try throwing the object back and forth with a friend. Who can throw it the farthest?

Today, we learned how to throw objects safely and nicely. It’s a great way to have fun and play games with friends.

We have come to the end of today’s class. I hope you enjoyed the class!
