Craft
Craft is the skilled way of making decorative and functional objects or the product of that process.
- Local craft:
It is defined as the skilled indigenous or traditional way of making decorative or functional objects or the product of that process. A person that practices or makes crafts is referred to as a craft man, craft woman or artisan.
Traditionally, crafts can be made completely by hand, using just simple tools. It can also be made by machine or through a mass production process. The category of crafts totally made by hand is called handicrafts. Local crafts have a cultural and historical identity as well as aesthetics.
