In today’s Home Economics class, We will be learning how to produce a Woven Table Mat. We hope you enjoy the class!

 

 

CONTENT:

 

Production of textile woven table mat

Materials needed

1. Cardboard
2. Scissors
3. Ruler
4. Pen
5. Gum
6. Cello tape etc

 

 

Steps Involved In the Production of A Textile Woven Table Mat

1. mark 1 cm along the length of a cardboard sheet using your ruler and pencil
2. draw straight lines on the cardboard
3. cut out the 1 cm stripes of the cardboard sheet
4. arrange the lengthwise strips for the warp
5. interlace with the crosswise stripes to form the weft
