Description of animal farm tools
In previous lessons, we learnt that animal farm tools are the farm tools used for rearing or growing lives stocks such as fish, birds, cattle etc
In our lesson today, we will be describing or defining some of these tools.
- Drinking trough: it is a container made of plastic Or metal.
- Feeding trough: it is also a container made of plastic or metal.
- Fishing net: this is made of woven ropes: There are scoop net, gils net and cast net. Fishing nets are usually meshes formed by knotting a relatively thin thread.
- Battery cage: it is made of metal with several partitions with feeding and drinking troughs attached to it.
- Shear: A shear is a cutting implement that looks like a long pair of scissors.
- Feeding trough: This is a long, narrow container without a lid that usually holds food for farm animals. They feed from it.
- Hooke and line: Hooks and lines are gear where the fish is attracted by a natural or artificial bait (lures) placed on a hook fixed to the end of a line.
- Pen house: this is built with different materials depending on the animal to be housed.
