Reasons some Culture Should be Changed
- They are obnoxious, offensive or annoying.
- They are old fashioned
- They are discriminatory, that is they do not treat male and female equally.
- Antagonist
- They do not allow for development in the society.
How Cultures can be Changed
Some of our culture that are bad can be changed through the following ways. These are:
- Proper Education: Adults and children should be enlightened in school, at home, workshops, seminar on why and how the culture should be changed.
- Dialogue: Community members should deliberate and discuss to agree on the form of changes that are desired.
- Discussion: Some aspects of the culture to be changed should be discussed upon by the people in the community.
