I will be introducing you to the Holy Spirit today.

TOPIC: The Holy Spirit makes us faithful

TEXT: Act 7:54-60

Who is the Holy Spirit?

The Holy Spirit is one of the Trinity. The Trinity are God the father, God the son and God the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is a person. He is a person equal with the father and the son. The Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity. The Holy Spirit is the promise of the father. He is our counselor. He is our teacher and helper. The Holy Spirit is the spirit of the father. He is the breath of God. He is the power of creation.

 

The Holy Spirit is the third person in God’s heart

The Holy Spirit is the presence of God in the world. He is the gift that God has given to us all. The teaching of the Trinity states that there are three persons in one God and they are co equal. Which means that non is less or greater than the other. The trinity are also co eternal, which means they have always existed and have no beginning nor ending. The Holy Spirit was given to live in those who believe in Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit produces the fruits of the spirit in our lives. The Holy Spirit convicts sinners of sin. He knocks on our hearts and minds asking us to repent and turn to God for forgiveness of our sins and establishing a new relationship with Him.
