CONTENT
An article is an essay you write for publication in a newspaper or magazine. In an article, you may be required to compare and contrast, discuss the causes and effects of something or give a thorough definition of something.
FEATURES OF AN ARTICLE
- An article must have a title
- Text of the article (body of the article)
- Conclusion
- Writer’s full name and class.

- The simple present tense is the dominant tense used in articles.
Note: An article may take the form of a descriptive essay, argumentative, essay etc. Therefore, the content and organization of the article should be the same as those of the essay type it is related to.
