In today’s English class, we will be learning about Composition
As a student, oftentimes you are asked to write a story, a letter or a dialogue in English class. So when we talk about composition, we are simply talking about writing.
Composition is another word for writing. It is the act of writing or the process of creating a piece of writing.
Now, we will write a composition talking about someone’s favorite place in the world.
Composition: My Favorite Place In The World
My name is Babatunde Solanke but my siblings call me Tunde. I was named Babatunde by my grandmother who believed that I was her father who had come back to earth.
My grandmother is from Abeokuta, the capital of Ogun State in Nigeria. Abeokuta is my favorite place in the world. Whenever I visit my grandmother’s house in Abeokuta, I usually visit the popular Olumo rock.
Olumo rock is a popular rock in Nigeria and one of the rocks in Africa with an interesting story.
Abeokuta is a place that is surrounded by people with smiles and laughter. In Abeokuta, you find hardworking people buying and selling adire, a dyed fabric.
I enjoy staying in Abeokuta for many reasons. It is a place where you can find people who also buy and sell different things.
Abeokuta is a place that I often miss and enjoy spending my holidays.
